We would like to welcome you to Penmenner House, our bed and breakfast in the Lizard village, England’s most southerly village. Built in 1862 for Nicholas Vivian – a Victorian gentleman who described himself as a proprietor of houses and mines – Penmenner House has a fascinating history. Long favoured by poets, writers and artists, it’s not to hard see why this magical place provides such divine inspiration for all!

These days, after loving restoration, Penmenner House Bed and Breakfast is home to four individual guest rooms, each benefitting from its own private en suite bathroom and outstanding sea views. Whether you are looking for a short break to rejuvenate or a week of adventure, you will find there is plenty to see and do nearby before returning back to your luxury accommodation.

If you are arriving by car, there is ample parking. However, you will soon find there is lots to do on foot. Follow the bridleway from the gate and join up with the glorious Cornish Coast Path, where spectacular walks in all directions provide hours of entertainment and unrivalled panoramas.
